The Keys To Driving Traffic To Your Website – Part 7- Traffic Exchanges
Filed Under Web Traffic Secrets
We now come to something that I used early on for driving traffic to my online business. It is free, and you get to connect with a lot of people who are looking for opportunities.
7. Traffic Exchanges
Traffic exchanges are networks of people who basically exchange traffic.
It works on the principle that you sign up for a traffic exchange, and then in the exchange you click on other people’s website links to build credits.
Those credits are equal to other people clicking on your site as well. In this sense you are exchanging traffic with all the other people on that exchange.
There is an art to using traffic exchanges the right way and not wasting all your time.
Do not promote a product or anything else you are really trying to sell on traffic exchanges. Almost every one there is trying to sell something themselves and it is highly unlikely they are going to buy something while they are trying to sell their own stuff.
The right way to use traffic exchanges is to promote a squeeze page that offers valuable information to that market of people.
You get them to opt in and once they are on your mailing list you can market different things to them over time.
I have found one traffic exchange that has worked very well for me. In fact, it’s how I got my start and I still generate a few leads a day from this one traffic exchange.
It’s called Traffic Swarm and I think it’s the best one out there.
There are two different ways to use traffic exchanges.
- You are a free member and you click on other people’s sites to build credits. This is time consuming and you get fewer credits then if you are a pro member.
- You become a pro member for a small amount a month and you automatically get credits in your account that are good for people clicking on your sites. On top of that you get more credits when you do click.
The other great thing about traffic exchanges like traffic swarm is that it allows you to build a downline. When your downline clicks, you get credits.
This could be huge if you duplicate this technique throughout your organization. You will end up with an infinite amount of free credits and all without clicking yourself.
For that reason I highly recommend going pro. It gives you more bang for your buck.
There are literally hundreds of other traffic exchanges out there that you can find for yourself. Go to Google and type in “Best Traffic Exchanges” and read all the reviews that come up.
