8. Classified Ads Marketing
There is a huge following of people who check out the classified sections of various top advertising websites. The key is to have an emotionally driven headline and ad copy that captures the visitors attention so that he/she will click on your link.
I have personally used all of these sources:
One of my favorites is: www.USFreeads.com. I spend about 15 minutes ever other day posting ads on USFreeads.com, and generally make a few hundred every week from my efforts.
Not only is advertising on classified sites a great way to get your promotion out to a lot of people, but also having your website link of one of these sites is great for SEO and backlink purposes since many of these sights have a very high PR (page rank).
According to Alexa traffic rating service:
- Craigslist.com is #41 with over 1 million visitors every day.
- USFreeads.com has a worldwide page rank of 4,848
- eBay.com is rated #18
- Backpage.com is rated #1837
- Kijiji.ca is rates #923
In fact, if you have a new website and your promoting a product, one of the fastest way to get listed on google and yahoo with your new website is by advertising on UsFreeads.com with your website link.
What I recommend is to spend a small amount of your time promoting our offers on classified ads.
I would stay away from Blackhat techniques that attempts to post thousands of ads in a hour on Craigslist. Your IP will get banned and the only way to advertise again is if you have a different IP.
