Wordpress Affiliate plugin was released a few days ago and I am amazingly impressed with its features and benefits, so much so, that I ended up doing a video demonstration.

There are a number of ways to make money online, and in my humble opinion, there's nothing like having your own blog, especially if you use WordPress. WordPress makes blogging so much easier and more effective.
For one thing, you get to decide which content to put on it and don't have to wait a week for someone else to approve it. You get to keep your ad revenue. If you use Google Adsense, however, chances are it's more like Google Adcents…offering you pennies for the traffic you give to them. And don't get me started on Google slaps.
That's why it's more effective to promote affiliate products on your blog rather than rely on Adsense. Affiliate commissions have a much higher payout than ad clicks.
One option is to have a "blog sponsor" section in your sidebar. Place ads here (preferably with eye-catching graphics rather than just text) that link to select affiliate products and also your own products if you have any.
Another option is to occasionally write a blog post that promotes an affiliate product. The posts should contain solid content in addition to the sales pitch. Write the post as if you were talking to a friend so that it doesn't come across as too pitchy.
Don't forget to have an opt-in form on your blog so that you can collect the email addresses of your blog readers. You can occasionally promote affiliate products through email to your list. You should also send out emails that contain helpful, engaging content. You can use your blog posts as content but you should also use original content in your emails too. Mix it up.

Let me tell you about this amazing tool called called the "Affiliate Link Bomber" by Ben Shaffer. If you are a internet marketer, I pretty much see this as a "must have" in your arsenal of tools.
First off, this is the "easiest" tool to use. It took me all but 5 minutes to install on my own domain and servers. You have a mult-domain license, so you can install it on as many domains as you wish. However, you don't have to, because Affiliate Link Bomber will give you code that you can use on any of your sites, or emails, etc….

We spend a lot of time and effort setting up Review Pages for affiliate offers. The problem is, the website visitor has to visit the "product site" in order the the cookies to be set to ensure you get the commissions. The frustrating part, is that many times the website visitor does not click on the product site through your site, but may leave your site, and visit another review site and click on the product site and you lose the commissions, even though you introduced the person to the product.

What’s The RIGHT Strategy For Profiting With Blogging?

By now, unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably heard about the power that blogs have as a tool for generating traffic and helping you make more money in your online business.
But “blogs” themselves aren’t a “strategy”. They’re a tool. And just like a hammer wouldn’t be an effective tool if you swung it at your finger instead of the nail, a blog isn’t an effective tool unless you use it as part of a solid marketing strategy.
A guy I usually listen to when it comes to using blogs for making money online is Andrew Hansen. Andrew’s claim to fame is his strategy for combining blogs with affiliate marketing, and various free traffic generation methods, to create passive income revenue streams that can remain profitable for a long time.
Part of this strategy is to use blogs NOT as an every day blogger who’s focused on pulitzer prize winning content, generating of mouth and creating link bait… but instead to use blogs as a simple content management system that can assist in getting fast search rankings for highly profitable keywords in order to generate high conversion rates on affiliate offers.
As Andrew says, blogs are perfect for this purpose because they are easy for anyone to set up, don’t require any coding knowledge, but come with features that most regular websites don’t have that can be leveraged for extreme advantages in the search engines, like RSS Feeds, pinging and others.
Interestingly he also points out how blogs while traditionally aren’t known for their ability to create high clickthrough or conversion rates on “offers” (including presells or direct sales offers) can in fact be tweaked to leverage some of the MOST powerful conversion boosters and can thus become high conversion selling machines.
Andrew’s just about to release a new “Institute” to teach people more about these strategies for profiting through “niche blogging” and he’s put out some really interesting FREE videos that you can check out to learn some quality actionable steps to making money from your blogs, or STARTING to make some blogs that will generate passive income for you too.
