Having fun playing around and using the premium Affiliate Theme by Unique Blog Design for the past week. I must say, I am very impressed. I have already set up a number of wordpress sales sites, and the flexibility and control that Affiliate Theme offers to me is exactly what I have been looking for.

Ever since I started selling other people’s products I found that using a Wordpress blog gave me the best results in my Google rankings because of the great SEO plugins. But, there were times when I was frustrated with wordpress and choose to use a static html page instead. Usually, my issue revolved around simply wanting a salespage, or mini-site. Many times during the week I simply want to put up a page with no sidebars, no recent pages, no distractions on the salespage other than the product and story on the site, with a order button at the end. Thus, I would my NVU html editor and create my page, and making sure I put in the appropriate title, description, and keyword tags. But, I was still missing many of the great seo features of a wordpress blog, and the search engines tend to favor the dynamic nature of a blog with postings and content, etc.
